Daily Watchword

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

1 John 5:14-15

Bible Gateway's Verse of the Day https://www.biblegateway.com

We are an Evangelical denomination and share the doctrines of the Evangelische Allianz Deutschland (www.ead.de). Moreover, we are a Pentecostal church and share the following basics as formulated within the directives of the Bund freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden (BFP) KdöR, where we belong to. We believe and teach:

1. God

We believe in the one eternal God who created heaven and earth and has revealed himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. God the Father

We believe in God the Father, origin of all Fatherhood, who approached the human beings with mercy and care and wants that all of them may realize the truth. Therefore, through his love, which is beyond any human imagination, he gave his son as a sacrifice to save a lost world.

 3. Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Word of God that became flesh, begotten by the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin Maria. In him God has fully revealed Himself for our salvation.

This is testified through the Bible, which is the Holy Scripture of the Old and New Testament, inspired by the Spirit of God as a perfect guideline for living, thinking and acting.

As the Word of God that became flesh, Jesus Christ has, through his vicarious final sacrifice, i.e. through his death on the cross, achieved full and final salvation for all people and has then, after his resurrection and ascension, taken his Place next to God to advocate us before the Father. We believe that Jesus our Lord will return with power and glory to bring eternal glory to those saved but eternal judgement upon those remaining unsaved. .

In Him God invites all persons as lost sinners to receive salvation through repentance and faith.

4. Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit who, based on the salvation achieved through Jesus Christ, gives new birth and new life to us, which will be completed in our resurrection from the death.

By baptizing in the Holy Spirit, the lifted Lord wants to equip all believers for serving. He dwells within those born again to bear the fruit of the Spirit.  In Godly souvereignity the Holy Spirit distributes different gifts, services and actions for the mutual strengthening of the believers and for their service to the world.

5. The Church

We believe that the church is the community of those called by God out of the world and redeemed and sent to the world with the message of salvation. The church as the body of Christ is the place of serving one another to which God calls and enables all limbs to take part in.

Through baptism by submergence in water and according to ones personal commitment of having received forgiveness and believing in Jesus Christ, the believers become part of the local church. They celebrate the Lord's Supper as a demonstration of the death of the Lord and of belonging to him as the head of the church, being part of the church as the body of Christ and expecting his return.

Belonging to Jesus includes personal sanctification and expectance of sanctification and restoration of the individual in full.
