Three containers with relief goods plus one ambulance were finally sent in the beginning of December 2017 and arrived shortly before new years eve. They contained some bicyclettes for the Elim Academy, but mainly hospital beds and medical items for the new CHA Medical Center, also some building material, as far as space was available - the latter is just being processed by now (see the pictures). The opening is still planned for some soon day within the following weeks or months.

 

In Germany we have received these days the news that according to official inspections at Ayirebi the main requirements are fulfilled, but financial means are still necessary to finish the operation room and the sanitary facilities for the women's department. Estimations from our team in Ghana resulted in approx. 6,240 € which are still needed.

 

Meanwhile we have sent out the donation certificates for last year's donations. With nearly 90,000 € - most of which is committed to the Ghana projects, but about 1,000 € were declared and used for the South-Africa project - the year 2017 has been a record year. Much was already achieved with it: two building sites in advanced state and one more year of successfull school operation. But the challenges we took when starting the new school building and the clinic are enormous. Therefore we still need our sponsors' ongoing financial support.
